The lover’s goodbye… During one of my conducted photowalk workshops I stumbled across the lovers above a foot bridge within the PMQ centre, Central and just at that moment, I had my camera set for action and action I captured. So fortunate to see real emotions amongst the busy their lives of locals just as they said their goodbyes to one another.

The mask of Hong Kong, there’s no such thing as over cautious here.

The call this shot the ‘night shift’ it’s early evening but quite dinner time so this chef has decided to come out for a breath of fresh air whist checking his phone, why not hey.

Driving into Central Hong Kong is a nightmare and I guess…. leaving Central Hong Kong ain’t much better either, the queues are long and the mid-levels roads are hilly so decent can be tricky, especially in the rain.

Market store owners are a dying breed in central Hong Kong as the supermarkets are becoming ever so competitive which leaves local market owners like this one quiet even at busy times of the day. No wonder this market store owner is taking a long break whist reading the daily headlines.

An instantly recognisable shot which can only be Hong Kong, I choose to take this shot as the taxi was passing the zebra crossing. The vibrant colours were insane to look at here.
